Kat

Katelyn Myrskog, also known as Kat, was born and raised in Toronto and currently lives in Ottawa. She is a recent Carleton University Communication and Media Studies graduate who has dreams of being a news broadcaster which stems from her involvement in school papers, plays and her love for video production. Myrskog has been involved in the Toronto Finnish community for 20 years. Kat has performed vocally at Agricola Church for 20 years and even singing at Casa Loma for Finland’s 100th year of Independence in 2017. In 2019, Myrskog also did freelance work with Kanadan Sanomat Vapaa Sana, Toronto’s Finnish Newspaper. Myrskog loves music and enjoys writing songs, playing the piano and is also a gifted artist curtesy of her family made up of artists. She loves animals, cooking, trying new restaurants, piña coladas, getting caught in the rain and all that jazz.
